Housing & Support Assistant – London

Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week / Part-Time | 20 Hours per Week

We are seeking a professional and motivated Housing & Support Assistant to support the day-to-day operation of our accommodation service in Walthamstow. This is a varied role requiring excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and a commitment to providing high-quality support to residents.

Shift Pattern

• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Alternate weekends (one weekend on, one weekend off)

Salary

£14.24 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Providing a professional reception service and responding to resident enquiries
• Conducting well‑being checks and property inspections
• Supporting residents with appointments and community engagement activities
• Reporting maintenance issues and assisting with operational tasks
• Promoting a safe, positive, and inclusive living environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with young people and residents
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Calm and professional approach when working in a fast-paced environment
