Position: Class 2 HGV (Cat C) Driver

Location: Plymouth

Looking for varied work with flexibility? We currently have a number of opportunities for Class 2 (Cat C) truck drivers in the Plymouth / Saltash area. Positions start immediately and include part time, temporary and flexible options.

• Plant machinery & welfare units
• Building supplies
• Office stationary
• Insulation products
• Ambient & chilled goods
• Agricultural supplies
• Furniture deliveries

Additional information

• The hours vary depending on the client; typical start times are between 05:30 and 08:00, with work lasting until complete.
• Pay ranges from £15.69 to £19.61 per hour, including weekend and overtime rates (advanced payroll method inclusive of holiday pay).
• PAYE – internal payroll; no umbrella firms.
• Weekly pay.
• Discounted CPC.
• Varied work depending on preferences and skill set: food & drink, metals, refuse collections, building supplies (Hiab required), cage work, tanker & packages (ADR).
• Part time and full time positions available, with many temp‑to‑perm opportunities throughout the year.

Job requirements

• Full and valid Category C (Class 2) licence with a current CPC, digital cards, no more than 6 points and no DR, DD or IN convictions for insurance purposes.
• Previous lorry driving experience is beneficial; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
• Ability to lift and carry fairly heavy items throughout the day. Some jobs will require hand‑balling.

Pay is inclusive of holiday at 12.07%. We can also accommodate a standard payroll method if you prefer to accrue and take holiday separately.
