Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
- Support children to access learning both inside and outside the classroom
- Help create an inclusive, nurturing and engaging learning environment
- Work closely with teachers, families and external agencies to support pupil progress and wellbeing
- Encourage children’s independence, confidence and social development
Qualifications
- Be passionate about supporting children with SEND and additional needs
- Have experience of working with or caring for children
- Be patient, flexible and resilient
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Demonstrate strong communication and relationship‑building skills
