1:1 Teaching Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
• Support children to access learning both inside and outside the classroom
• Help create an inclusive, nurturing and engaging learning environment
• Work closely with teachers, families and external agencies to support pupil progress and wellbeing
• Encourage children’s independence, confidence and social development

Qualifications

• Be passionate about supporting children with SEND and additional needs
• Have experience of working with or caring for children
• Be patient, flexible and resilient
• Work effectively as part of a team
• Demonstrate strong communication and relationship‑building skills
• Share our values of Care, Empowerment and Celebrating Uniqueness
