What You’ll Do
Your key responsibilities include:
- Support the Lead Teacher in the care and education of a group of children, promoting their cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
- Work collaboratively with team members to develop creative lesson plans, manage classroom activities, and provide individualized support.
- Maintain a well‑organized and clean learning environment, ensuring a safe and healthy space for students.
- Identify and build on children’s interests, working with colleagues to design engaging activities and projects.
- Communicate with parents regularly, sharing updates on their children’s progress through various channels including mobile apps and personal conversations.
Requirements
- Successful background check and meeting VA licensing standards.
- Flexibility to work hours based on the needs of the school and program.
- Minimum of one year of field‑related experience.
- Must be 16 years of age (18+ with high school diploma or equivalent preferred).
