Your mission:

As Chef de Partie, you play a key role in supporting the kitchen team and helping service run smoothly. You work cleanly, safely and efficiently, and take pride in maintaining high standards. You follow direction, stay flexible, and support your teammates wherever needed. You’ll take a proactive approach to your training and show up ready to do your job well every day.

The Details:

What exactly you will be doing…

  • Ensure all kitchen areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation at all times.
  • Prepare ingredients and follow recipes as directed by senior chefs.
  • Support chefs during service by keeping your section stocked, clean and organised.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment and storage areas are organised, clean, and compliant with food safety standards, with particular attention on safe and compliant food storage and labelling.
  • Follow all health and safety, food hygiene, and sanitation procedures consistently.
  • Be proactive with your development by keeping your training up to date and actively learning through asking questions and improving your skills.
  • Work closely with other chefs and departments to keep service running smoothly.
  • Report any hazardous situations or maintenance issues promptly to a Senior Chef or the Kitchen Manager.
  • Remain flexible and ready to support teammates across the department, including during busy service periods or special events.
  • Use initiative to anticipate needs and support the team proactively.
  • Work independently or as part of a team, taking ownership of your responsibilities.
  • Maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per hotel standards.
  • Follow hotel security procedures to ensure the safety of guests and teammates.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies, including attendance, conduct, confidentiality and health & safety.

Background must-have:

  • Preferred: 1-2 years’ experience in a full-service hospitality establishment
  • Current right to work in the UK
