Sailing Coach

Overview

Radley College is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable sailing professional with excellent boat handling and coaching skills. The role involves leading instruction for novices and advanced sailors, including race coaching, and maintaining the College’s sailing fleet. Working with the Director of Sport, you will support training and racing activities and uphold health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead coaching for novices and advanced sailors, including race coaching.
• Maintain and develop the College’s sailing fleet.
• Support training and racing activities in collaboration with the Director of Sport.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met and boats/equipment are well maintained.

Qualifications

• RYA Senior Instructor certificate.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Additional coaching, powerboat or race management qualifications would be advantageous.

Details

Part-time position, 3-4 days per week during term time and selected competitions/regattas. Training will take place at Farmoor Reservoir (via Oxford Sail Training Trust).
