Senior Dispensing Assistant

Role Overview

You will work as a Pharmacy Assistant at HMP Manchester, part of Greater Manchester Mental Health (GMMH) Foundation Trust. This role supports the prison pharmacy team by providing pharmacy services and medicines administration.

Responsibilities

• Labeling, dispensing and ordering medications.
• Communicating with healthcare team members to resolve medication issues.
• Contributing to the development and improvement of pharmacy services.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Have been residing in the UK for at least 12 months before applying.
• Must be able to provide a six‑year address history for prison clearance.
• Good communication skills and a motivation to learn and develop.

Working Hours

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
