About the role:
justteachers is working in partnership with a friendly and supportive primary school near Heacham to recruit an enthusiastic and committed KS1 Teacher. This is a full‑time, long‑term position with a September start.
The successful candidate will join a welcoming school community dedicated to providing a positive and engaging learning environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential. The role will involve planning and delivering creative and inspiring lessons across Key Stage 1 while supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across KS1
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
- Support pupils’ personal, social, and emotional development
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Contribute to the wider life of the school community
Pre‑requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within KS1 is desirable
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A creative, nurturing, and proactive approach to teaching
- Commitment to raising standards and supporting pupil progress
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Two recent, relevant references
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
