HGV 1 Tanker Driver 5 on 3 off – Nights

Abbey Logistics is recruiting professional HGV 1 Tanker Drivers for its Wellingborough depot. The role involves safely transporting bulk powder products across the UK, with occasional European work where required. Full training will be provided.

Basic Pay: £43,668.00 per year + OvertimeOvertime: Paid daily after 9.6 hours at £19.88 phDouble time: On Good Friday, Easter Monday, Boxing Day & New Year’s Day.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver bulk powder products to customer sites.
• Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle.
• Follow all company procedures and industry regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service as Abbey Logistics representative.

Qualifications

• Full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Tanker experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Professional attitude with strong focus on safety and compliance.
