Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate GCSE Maths Lecturer to join a Further Education setting in Bury on a full‑time basis for the full academic year.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective GCSE Maths lessons to learners of varying abilities.
• Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with curriculum requirements.
• Support students to achieve their target grades and build confidence in maths.
• Maintain accurate records of progress and provide feedback to students and staff.
• Contribute positively to the wider teaching team and learning environment.

Requirements

• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
• Experience teaching within Further Education (FE).
• Strong subject knowledge in Maths and familiarity with GCSE curriculum.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A commitment to supporting learner development and achievement.
