We are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our committed and nurturing team. The successful candidate will work primarily on a 1:1 basis with a child in EYFS, supporting their access to learning, communication and play. The role will also involve small‑group work and wider class support under the direction of the class teacher.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Committed to inclusion and able to respond to the individual needs of all children
- Experienced in SEND, with an understanding of strategies that support children with autism
- Knowledgeable about EYFS and confident in promoting early communication, interaction and independence
- An excellent communicator who builds strong, supportive relationships with children and colleagues
- Positive, caring and flexible in their approach to teamwork and classroom support
- Passionate about child‑centred learning and able to contribute to a vibrant, engaging EYFS curriculum
The role will include:
- Supporting a child with autism to access learning, routines and social interaction
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to implement agreed strategies
- Providing small‑group support when required
- Contributing to a warm, purposeful and inclusive classroom environment
