Clinical Development Director
Location: London/Hybrid
Contract: 6 months (maternity cover)
Therapeutic Area: Neuroscience / Immunology
Therapeutic Area: £480 per day (PAYE only) – Equivalent salary £124,000 per annum
About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Development Director to join a global clinical development team supporting late-phase clinical programmes. This role is ideal for an experienced Clinical Scientist or Clinical Development professional who can immediately contribute to ongoing studies, providing scientific leadership across clinical development activities, regulatory documentation, and data review.
You will work within multidisciplinary global teams, supporting the development and execution of clinical strategies for innovative therapies in Neuroscience and Immunology.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in Clinical Research or Clinical Development within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Strong late-phase clinical development experience.
- Experience working as a Clinical Scientist with the ability to contribute immediately to ongoing clinical programmes.
- Proven experience reviewing and interpreting clinical trial data.
- Strong experience developing and reviewing clinical protocols, Clinical Study Reports (CSRs), Investigator’s Brochures, regulatory documents, and safety documentation.
- Excellent understanding of ICH-GCP, clinical trial design, clinical development processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience working within global, cross-functional matrix teams.
- Excellent scientific writing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
