Senior Banking Data & Transformation Consultant

We’re looking for an experienced Banking Data & Transformation Consultant to help a leading financial institution modernise their data capabilities and deliver large-scale transformation programmes.

You’ll work at the intersection of banking, data and technology, partnering with senior stakeholders to design data-driven solutions that improve governance, regulatory compliance and business performance.

The Role

• Deliver data and business transformation initiatives across Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Lending, Payments, Risk and Compliance.
• Work with business and technology stakeholders to define data strategies and operating models.
• Lead data governance, data quality and regulatory initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops, gather business and data requirements, and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Develop business and data models to support enterprise transformation.
• Drive improvements across data management, governance and business processes.
• Build trusted client relationships and contribute to strategic transformation programmes.

Experience

• Strong consulting experience delivering data, technology or business transformation programmes within banking.
• Deep knowledge of banking domains including Retail, Commercial Banking, Lending, Payments, Risk or Compliance.
• Experience with Data Governance, Data Management, Data Quality or Business/Data Modelling.
• Ability to bridge the gap between business and technology teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of enterprise data architecture, metadata management or regulatory reporting.
• Experience with cloud data platforms, analytics or digital transformation programmes.
• Relevant certifications in Data Management, Banking, Project Management or Consulting.
