Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor

Job Description Alltorq Limited is a supplier of Industrial components worldwide and growing. We currently have an opportunity for a motivated Warehouse / Logistics person to join our team and help build an efficiently operating part of the company n Warehouse & logistics supervisor dealing with incoming & outbound shipments UK/ Europe/ Worldwide n The successful candidate will have the following duties & responsibilities: n n Processing goods/ admin. for incoming purchase orders n Processing goods/ admin. for outgoing sales purchase orders n Handling inbound and outbound freight n Benchmarking the supply base for best competitive freight service levels n Measuring overall freight performance & budgets and working on efficiencies n Planning the warehouse and stock with inventory controls and stock taking n Purchase order processing and tracking to liaise with sales requirements n Incoming goods inspection n Planning incoming shipping plans with sales and suppliers n Interact with sales, planning order scheduling against customer forecasts/ schedules n Setup & document incoming/ outgoing controls/ processes n Setup & document RMT process n Some manual work such as Intermittent bench inspection/ test process work (minimal) n Back up telephone call support n n In order to be considered for the position you will have the following key skills & experience: n n A desire to build a role in our business n The ability to lead and motivate others n People management experience. n Experience in supply chain/ warehouse / DC environment. n Have a technical aptitude n Independent and self-motivated n Strong written and verbal communication skills. n Able to work on their own and use initiative to manage shipping budgets & get best service for our customers meeting deadlines n Computer literate n Knowledge/ experience of import/ export and customs clearance processes n A forklift licence is preferred n n Working hours are: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm n Salary: Neg. £30 – £35,000+ depending on experience n Benefits: On-site parking / 25 days holiday per annum / Pension scheme after 3 months…
