Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Software Engineer — Hybrid/Central Bristol, 3 days per week. Salary 55-65k + 10% bonus.

Responsibilities

• Work across frontend and backend to build new features and enhance existing ones.
• Explore AI-driven capabilities such as automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent decision-making tools.
• Collaborate with product, data, and global teams; contribute to platform solutions and share knowledge with the wider group.
• Take initiative to experiment, innovate, and make a direct impact on product delivery.

The Tech Youunding

• Backend primarily Python (Django & FastAPI) with JavaScript frontend.
• Bonus for Vue.js experience.
• Data is pulled from a SQL database; development is containerised with Docker and Kubernetes in a DevOps setup.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial Full Stack Software Engineering experience.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort with semi outward-facing roles and collaborating with broader teams.
