Senior Mechanical & Crane Design Engineer (Nuclear)

Assystem is seeking an experienced Crane/Mechanical Handling Engineer to support the Design Authority in safe, fit-for-purpose defence infrastructure projects. The role focuses on mechanical design, crane systems, and PSR assessment, with emphasis on regulatory compliance and safety culture.

Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of EOT cranes, lifting regulations, and ONR/ licence conditions, plus the ability to deliver practical engineering solutions in a highly regulated environment.
