Role Details(Part‑time, 14.7 hrs per week, Acute Secretary – Emergency Department and MAU based at Inverclyde Royal Hospital)Shift pattern: Monday to Friday (flexible if required).
Responsibilities
Provide a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to a consultant(s) and their team(s). Act as a focal point for service enquiries and co‑ordinate the patient’s pathway. Support clinical staff in delivering high‑quality, efficient and effective patient‑centred care within Acute Services. Use initiative and resource while exercising confidentiality, diplomacy and tact. Ensure accurate and timely communication of information in line with Board/Departmental policies and procedures.
