About The Role

You will lead and grow a portfolio of key residential property clients, acting as their trusted insurance partner and advocate. In a fast‑growing business, you will shape tailored insurance programmes, deliver exceptional service and negotiate the best outcomes with leading insurers.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading renewal strategies, market submissions and negotiations to secure best‑in‑class cover and pricing.
• Meeting and advising clients, translating risk profiles into clear recommendations and actions.
• Managing tenders and new business opportunities, from qualification through to presentation and close.
• Coordinating claims oversight and advocacy, ensuring swift resolutions and insightful reporting.
• Developing growth plans for your portfolio, tracking pipeline, MI and performance against targets.
• Nurturing insurer partnerships and staying ahead of market trends impacting residential property risks.

Experience

• Managing agent or residential property insurance portfolios (blocks of flats, RMCs, RTMs, freeholders).
• Broking, placement and negotiation experience with major UK property insurers and MGAs.
• Leading renewals, tenders and claims advocacy in a regulated broking environment.
• Familiarity with broking platforms and CRM/MI tools (e.g., Acturis) and strong Excel/reporting skills.
• Exposure to risk management, cover design and wording comparisons for multi‑location property risks.
