Position: Supply Chain Manager- 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Location: Harlow, Essex

Salary: 50,000 – 60,000

Supply Chain Manager required for a multi-national manufacturer based in Harlow, Essex. The role is for a 12 month fixed term contract.

Reporting into senior management, you will oversee warehouse, inventory, shipping and logistics activities, ensuring material availability, stock accuracy and on-time customer deliveries. You will provide leadership to operational team members while working closely with production, purchasing and sales functions to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.

Position Overview

• Coordinate end-to-end supply chain activities to support production and customer requirements.
• Supervise warehouse, inventory control, shipping and logistics operations.
• Monitor stock levels, material availability and supply chain performance.
• Support supplier management and resolve supply or delivery issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across inventory, warehousing and logistics processes.
• Lead, coach and develop a small operational team.
• Support ERP/MRP system processes and data accuracy.

Position Requirements

• 3-5+ years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement or manufacturing operations.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, warehousing and logistics.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (MS Dynamics Business Central advantageous).
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Based in a commutable distance of Harlow, Essex

Position Remuneration

• Salary 50,000 – 60,000
• 12-month contract role
