Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure for production workloads
- Architect and manage Kubernetes (EKS) environments for high-performance compute and orchestration
- Implement and optimise cloud-native solutions focused on reliability, scalability, and performance
- Own infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
- Ensure high availability, monitoring, and observability across cloud platforms
- Drive best practices in cloud security, access control, and governance
- Partner with engineering teams to deliver efficient and robust infrastructure
Key Skills
- 4+ years experience as a Cloud Engineer / Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer
- Strong hands‑on experience with AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS)
- Kubernetes expertise – mandatory (design, deployment, scaling, troubleshooting)
- Experience with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration at scale
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and system reliability
- Experience operating production‑grade cloud environments
Nice to Have
- Experience in high-performance or low‑latency environments
- Exposure to financial services, trading systems, or large‑scale compute platforms
