Role & Responsibilities
- Project manage contracts.
- Estimating and quotes.
- Monthly report to MD & Contracts Director for contract progression / updates.
- Manage application for payments.
- Customer contact (new & ongoing).
- Site set up and management.
- Liaison with site staff.
- Method statements preparation.
- Risk assessments preparation.
- Site health & safety.
- Health & Safety site inspections.
- Ensure quality control and test inspection documents are completed as per planned timescales.
- Promote good practice of material sustainability (reuse and/or recycle) initiatives to reduce waste and save costs.
- Ensure contractor’s operatives are competent, qualified and licensed to undertake their work activities correctly and that all plant and equipment used is tested, maintained and certified as specified.
- Ensure all necessary checks to ensure that installed services and equipment comply with contract documentation.
- Monitor and report all defective materials and substandard quality/workmanship standards that do not meet the works specification.
- Determine and assess the need for additional staff and resources.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify project risks and devise contingency plans.
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
