Location: Tring
Job Description:

Hey! We’re Huel, and we’re pleased to meet you

Our culture thrives on high performance, and we set the bar high for new Hueligans who join us.

We invite you to read the advert below for our new Data Analyst position to understand the role, and explore our 7 Huel values before applying to ensure we have the right working environment for you!

The role

Huel is looking for a Data Analyst to turn raw behavioural and commercial data into clear, actionable insights for Marketing, Trading, Product, and Retail teams. You’ll build measurement frameworks, run causal analyses, and create self‑serve dashboards, helping the business move fast and make confident, data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

  • Owning end‑to‑end analysis – translate open‑ended questions from Marketing, Trading, Product, and Retail into clear analytical briefs, run the analysis, and land unambiguous recommendations.
  • Designing & evaluating experiments – design A/B tests and causal‑inference studies (lift analysis, hold‑out tests) and communicate results in plain language.
  • Defining measurement frameworks – set the right KPIs and establish how new initiatives will be measured, ensuring every launch has a clear success metric and data plan from day one.
  • Scale our data foundations – team up with Engineering to design efficient, accurate data sets and schemas, define requirements for new data feeds, and automate the checks that keep everything running smoothly.
  • Championing self‑serve analytics – develop and maintain live dashboards, document datasets, and run training sessions so non‑analysts can answer routine questions without waiting in a queue.
  • AI & Automation – champion the adoption of AI‑powered analytics, using AI tools to enhance analysis, automate routine activities, uncover deeper insights, and improve productivity, while enabling colleagues to self‑serve trusted data and answer business questions independently.
  • Spotting growth opportunities – combine behavioural and marketing data with commercial metrics to size new products, markets, and campaigns, prioritising by impact and effort.

This role is based at our HQ in Tring, Hertfordshire. We operate a hybrid working model, with office days on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and the flexibility to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays.

What we’re looking for in you

We’re looking for a confident, curious analyst who’s comfortable working with statistics, behavioural data, and experiment design. You can move seamlessly between SQL, product analytics tools, and storytelling through slides. You’re proactive, independent, and always looking for high‑impact opportunities to raise the bar on how we use data. In a fast‑paced environment, you adapt quickly and communicate clearly – collaborating with both technical and non‑technical teams to get things done.

  • SQL – you can write quick exploratory queries or optimise a multi‑table join on Snowflake without breaking a sweat.
  • Product analytics – comfortable in platforms such as Heap, Amplitude or Mixpanel and happy to set up events, funnels and cohorts from scratch.
  • Statistical – solid on A/B testing, experiment design and the basics of causal inference; you know when a result is worth acting on.
  • Measurement mindset – you’ve built tracking plans and KPI frameworks that let teams see what “good” looks like before they ship.
  • Data – experience modelling data in dbt (or similar), automating checks and keeping feeds clean and accurate as they scale.

What do we offer in return?

  • Hybrid working – Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays in the office together, with the option to work from home two days.
  • 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Free Huel.
  • Two weeks a year to work remotely from anywhere.
  • On‑site gym with free classes and a nutrition plan.
  • On‑site wellness area offering infrared sauna and ice bath.
  • Free 1‑on‑1 therapy provided by Self‑Space.
  • Private medical and health insurance for you and your loved ones, including free life insurance covering up to 4× your salary.
  • Electric car scheme with onsite charging.
  • Enhanced family leave.
  • Biannual events to celebrate success.
