Virtualisation Engineer – SC or DV cleared

Overview

We have a requirement for an SC or DV cleared Virtualisation Engineer to support various tiered systems within the VMware technology space. This role will support a wider team of skilled technicians working on Government platforms and services. The resource will support BAU and project deliverables where required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support virtualization environments and related services within the VMware stack as part of a delivered IT capability for government platforms.
• Collaborate with the current team to support ongoing services and participate in the build of new services as part of project work.
• Assist with migration-related activities or work in public cloud initiatives as applicable.

Skills and qualifications

• Experience across Broadcom technologies that form part of the current platform and the ability to work alongside the existing team to support various services.
• Familiarity with:
• ESXi
• HA configuration
• vCenter
• vSan
• VCF
• NSX
• VMware Aria

• Certifications:
• VCP-DCV – Essential
• VCAP – Desirable
• NSX – Essential

• Candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are welcome to apply.
