Senior Software Developer – Location: Hybrid, Croydon

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based applications using AWS services.
- Write clean, maintainable code in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Implement containerized applications using Docker.
- Orchestrate and manage container deployments using Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Ensure security, performance, and reliability of cloud-based applications.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices are followed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a government or public sector role.
- Extensive knowledge of AWS services and best practices.
- Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Employment Details
This role is a 12-month permanent FTC and requires the candidate to hold current active SC Clearance. We are unable to consider candidates who require sponsorship or hold a visa of any type.
Salary
GBP 60,000 – 80,000 per year. Experience: 5 years required.
