Functions Manager – St John’s College (University of Cambridge)

Responsibilities
- Manage staffing and service provision for lunches, dinners, College feasts and functions both internal and external to the College.
- Provide full knowledge of silver service and other styles of food, wine and beverage service.
- Ensure compliance with Allergy Regulations and Food Safety HACCP regulations.
- Lead large teams and maintain high standards of service.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experienced, standards‑orientated Functions Manager.
- Previous staff management experience of large teams.
- Knowledge of silver service, award service, wine and beverage service.
- Knowledge of Allergy Regulations and Food Safety HACCP regulations.
Working Hours
Weekly 39.25 hours worked over a 7‑day roster on a shift pattern that changes weekly to cover lunches, dinners and other events. A degree of flexibility will be required to meet business needs.
