Are you an experienced data privacy professional looking for an opportunity to broaden your expertise within a truly global organisation?
I’m partnering with an international business to recruit a Global Data Privacy Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative legal team where you’ll work alongside experienced privacy specialists, gaining exposure to complex, international data privacy matters across multiple jurisdictions.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys operating in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of a varied workload and partnering with stakeholders across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on a wide range of global data privacy matters across Europe, North America and APAC.
- Drafting and reviewing Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), Data Transfer Agreements (DTAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
- Supporting global privacy governance and compliance programmes.
- Managing data subject requests and data breach incidents.
- Advising on privacy considerations for business projects, including HR, marketing, e-commerce and technology implementations.
- Monitoring regulatory developments and providing practical guidance to stakeholders.
- Maintaining privacy documentation, policies and records of processing activities.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Significant experience in data privacy, ideally gained in-house within an international organisation.
- Strong knowledge of UK GDPR and wider international privacy legislation.
- Experience reviewing and advising on the data privacy aspects of commercial contracts.
- A proactive, organised and commercially minded approach.
- The confidence to work independently while collaborating with legal and business stakeholders globally.
A legal qualification is not essential for this role. We’re particularly interested in experienced privacy professionals who are practical, solutions-focused and keen to develop within a supportive global legal team.
