PDA M&E Delivery Manager

Responsibilities

• Deliver project objectives with respect to Health & Safety, Quality, Cost, Environment, Delivery and People
• Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
• Maintain compliance with the DBFO contract, clarifying roles and responsibilities
• Produce timely and accurate reports and maintain specified records
• Identify, evaluate, and escalate emerging risks and issues
• Lead and oversee projects throughout their whole lifecycle
• Inform investment proposals for clients at each stage
• Oversee and challenge Project Managers’ input on income and cost profiles
• Manage correspondence and queries through Aconex
• Facilitate project reviews and manage project change control processes
• Allocate projects to PMs based on knowledge and capability

Qualifications

• Experience in the delivery of mechanical and electrical and/or technology highways construction & maintenance operations
• Project Management skills, preferably supported by recognised PM qualification, PRINCE2, APMP etc.
• Preference of minimum HNC / HND (or equivalent) in a mechanical and electrical, civil engineering or other construction-based discipline
• Broad knowledge and understanding of other design areas
• Understanding of Environmental requirements of schemes
• Experience of coordinating interfaces with design teams and external resources
• Understanding of H&S Requirements related to highway construction & maintenance works
• Knowledge of CDM and other H&S legislation
• Competent in exercising the duties under CDM
• Applicable CSCS Card
• Team leadership and management experience in driving performance and productivity
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong customer focus with a service delivery mindset
• Commercial understanding and budgetary control experience
• Understanding of Lean principles
