Associate AI Engineer

The role of Associate Forward Deployed AI Engineer sits within Group Technology and involves embedding with business divisions to lead end-to-end deployments of AI solutions, from discovery and scoping to production rollout.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of AI deployments within your assigned business division, including discovery, scoping, system design, build, and production rollout.
• Ensure solutions are technically sound, aligned to business outcomes, and delivered with urgency and quality.
• Embed directly with business stakeholders to understand challenges and translate domain requirements into technical solutions.
• Communicate progress, trade-offs, and outcomes clearly to leadership.
• Architect, build, and deploy AI applications powered by large language models and generative AI.
• Write and review production-grade code across frontend and backend systems; ensure scalability, reliability, and data stewardship.
• Collaborate with TP ICAP’s central AI platform team and feed insights to product roadmaps.
• Drive adoption by measuring production usage and business impact; present outcomes and recommendations to leadership.

Experience / Competences

Essential

• Expertise in AI technologies, including Generative AI and Machine Learning.
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks; ability to write and review production-grade full-stack code.
• Track record of architecting scalable solutions from prototype to production.
• Experience managing technical priorities within an Agile environment; resolving dependencies and aligning stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills; ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.

Desired

• AWS experience including services such as Bedrock and Serverless ecosystem.
• Proficiency in React and front-end development; building intuitive UIs that integrate with AI back-ends.
• Experience building scalable APIs and microservices for AI solutions.
• Knowledge of OAuth (Okta) for secure authentication and authorization in full-stack apps.
