Full‑time. Hybrid: spend at least three days a week (60%) at the Watford office. During training new starters are required to work in‑office five days a week unless an exception is approved.

Job Description Summary

Responsible for the operational delivery of all used leased vehicles within the pre‑loved range for Tusker clients. The role authorises all work, prepares vehicles to meet company standards, manages costs, allocates vehicles to appropriate channels, and ensures an exceptional customer driver journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Authorise required bodywork repairs and necessary SMR to meet the agreed used‑car standard.
  • Maintain the Used Car Stock page and tracking documentation.
  • Identify vehicles not meeting standards and move them to the normal remarketing channel.
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers to ensure successful vehicle delivery, coordinating with the Order & Delivery team.
  • Collaborate with vehicle operations to ensure SMR and repair methods are followed.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of the repair and maintenance of motor vehicles (cars & LCVs), both combustion engine and electric vehicles.
  • Experience working in a manufacturer’s franchised dealership in both workshop and service desk departments.
  • Experience in a cost approval and audit function within a lease company or similar organisation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Motivation to achieve targets, both individually and as part of a team.
  • System experience: Salesforce and Microsoft Office.

Additional Experience (useful)

  • Previous automotive industry experience within a dealership or used‑vehicle environment.
  • Polite and professional telephone manner.
  • Self‑management and strong organisational skills.
