Overview

Team Manager – Social Care Qualified (Contract). We are seeking a dedicated Team Manager – Social Care Qualified to join our team on a 2-week contract basis. This is an opportunity to showcase expertise in social care management and to support vulnerable populations within a reputable agency committed to excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise a team of social care staff to ensure quality service delivery
  • Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing support and training
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Liaise with clients, families, and external agencies to coordinate care plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation and case records
  • Promote a positive, supportive environment for both staff and service users
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Qualified Social Worker (or equivalent social care qualification)
  • Proven experience in social care management, ideally as a Team Manager
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures
  • Valid DBS check and right to work in the UK
