Team Manager – Social Care Qualified (Contract). We are seeking a dedicated Team Manager – Social Care Qualified to join our team on a 2-week contract basis. This is an opportunity to showcase expertise in social care management and to support vulnerable populations within a reputable agency committed to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a team of social care staff to ensure quality service delivery
- Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing support and training
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
- Liaise with clients, families, and external agencies to coordinate care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and case records
- Promote a positive, supportive environment for both staff and service users
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Qualified Social Worker (or equivalent social care qualification)
- Proven experience in social care management, ideally as a Team Manager
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a dynamic environment
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures
- Valid DBS check and right to work in the UK
