Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner

About the role

An exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join as a trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner. The successful applicant must be a Registered Allied Health Professional or Nurse with considerable clinical experience and be an active senior leader in North Manchester, providing leadership and guidance to the wider team, offering clinical interventions, supervision, and collaboration with the multi‑disciplinary team. A thorough understanding of the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Human Rights Act is essential.

Responsibilities

• Practice at an advanced clinical level, exercising high levels of judgement, discretion, and decision‑making in clinical care.
• Provide clinical leadership, expert practice, advanced knowledge, and strategic direction on all aspects of adult acute mental health at Meadowbrook.
• Deliver clinical leadership and management to provide safe, quality, effective care.
• Improve workforce knowledge and practice through provision of inpatient education and training.
• Lead improvements in quality of care and safety through service development, evaluation, and audit.
