We are seeking a General Manager – RGN Qualified for Braintree Mews Care Home in Braintree.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as General Manager will be to lead and inspire a team to deliver excellent person-centred quality care to residents in a safe, caring and stimulating environment, whilst meeting regulatory requirements, professional and statutory standards, and business performance targets.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, person-centred care based on best practice.
- Recruitment, retention, and development of staff within the Home.
- Acting as a focal point for contact with residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals involved in residents wellbeing.
- Ensuring safe staffing levels are reviewed and maintained according to occupancy and dependency.
- Providing ongoing inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
- Ensuring costs are well managed and maintained within budgetary controls by regularly reviewing stock.
ABOUT YOU

- Have a minimum of four years of experience in a similar care environment.
- Have Leadership and Management Level 5 or equivalent.
- Hold a current NMC.
- Possess excellent leadership and management skills.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and be competent in IT.
- Be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Qualifications
Minimum requirements include:
- Minimum of four years of experience in a similar care environment.
- Leadership and Management Level 5 or equivalent.
- Current NMC registration.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; competence in IT.
- Adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
