Design Manager – Water

Overview

Coordinate or manage a team of engineers for the delivery of technical design work. Drive and oversee the production and review of technical deliverables. Collaborate with clients and various teams within AtkinsRéalis. Provide mentorship to less experienced colleagues. Work independently and provide guidance to junior team members. Provide technical and delivery support for bid proposals. Deliver integrated design solutions in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent




• Chartered or Incorporated Civil Engineer




• Proven experience in coordinating or managing an engineering design delivery team




• Knowledge of risk assessment, quality control, change management, and collaboration in water infrastructure design




• Practical knowledge of current design codes and standards




• Proficiency in applicable analytical software and related tools such as Autocad, CDE’s, MS Suite, Power BI




• Experience in the Water market is preferred




• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance

• Chartered Civil Engineer




• Incorporated Civil Engineer
