Overview

Kingston Barnes is recruiting for a Mechanical Service Technician/Mechanical Service Engineer for one of our engineering clients. With a starting salary up to £36,500 and potential overtime rates, this is a great opportunity.

The Role

The right candidate will be responsible for servicing, installing and troubleshooting machinery. The role requires a skilled experienced mechanical fitter/technician who can work from mechanical drawings. Responsibilities include:

• Undertake mechanical service/fitting on customer sites
• Carry out site work to a high standard
• Ensure all documentation is completed promptly
• Ensure effective communication with customers and internal contacts at all times
• Manage expense and mileage budget efficiently
• Core hours are 7:00 – 3:30

The Candidate

• Mechanical service/fitting background
• From medium/heavy industry
• Mechanical engineering qualification
• Welding experience ideal
• Commutable to Rotherham
