Overview

Provide electrical design solutions for wireless infrastructure projects (LV systems, earthing, surge & lightning protection). Produce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, schedules, and reports. Take ownership of electrical design elements across assigned projects. Ensure designs are compliant with relevant standards and client requirements. Work collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and suppliers. Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and technicians. Report on project progress and support continuous improvement activities. Support meetings, surveys, and wider project activities as required.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • HNC (or similar / higher) in Electrical Engineering
  • Understanding of electrical design principles, standards, and regulations
  • Experience working in an engineering or design office environment
  • Ability to manage priorities and deliver work on time
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Full UK Driving Licence for occasional site visits
  • Experience using electrical design software (Desirable)
  • Exposure to telecoms / wireless infrastructure environments (Desirable)
