Key Responsibilities
- Working with software developers to understand what the system is meant to do and its functionality.
- Analysing and understanding test cases and use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility.
- Collaborate closely with other team members and departments.
- Execute all levels of automation testing (system, integration, and regression).
- Design and develop automation scripts to integrate into regression testing repository.
- Detect and track automation software defects and inconsistencies.
- Report progress, risks and defects identified to the software development and project management teams.
- Provide timely solutions.
- Provide support and documentation.
- Familiarity with agile development principles such as mob/pair programming, short development cycles, frequent feedback, failing fast, and lean concepts.
Your Profile
Essential:
- 4+ years of experience as an Automation QA Tester.
- 2+ years of experience working in the financial sector.
- 1+ years of experience leveraging AI to provide robust and scalable testing frameworks.
- Experience building a testing library within Cypress (Unit, Component, End-to-End).
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to solve complex problems.
- Determination and tenacity to commit to the end when solving issues.
- Must be able to work competently within a Quality Assurance testing team.
- Must be able to share knowledge and skills with others in the team.
Desirable:
- Experience working in the pensions financial sector.
- Previous experience as a Software Engineer desirable.
