Job Description:

We’re looking for Service & Installation Engineers to service, maintain and install our range of commercial vehicle wash systems, based in or around West London.

Responsibilities

  • Working at customer sites to conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance activities on washes and associated equipment.
  • Diagnosing and rectifying faults and specifying parts replacement.
  • Communicating with customers.
  • Fully adhering to work instructions, RAMS and H&S procedures.
  • Working with service colleagues to schedule in works to meet customer deadlines.
  • Ensuring all repairs and maintenance work are completed to the highest standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience of service & maintenance on large, capital equipment/machinery.
  • Able to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues, providing excellent customer service.
  • Good problem solver and strong attention to detail.
  • Adaptable and willing to learn.
  • IT savvy – able to use PDAs, email.

Essential Requirements

  • Comfortable working at heights (up to 6.5m), using ladders, MEWPs, harnesses and working outside in all weathers.
  • Able to work regular overtime and be willing to spend occasional nights away.
  • Flexible approach – happy to work with and support others.
  • Competent in machine fitting work, including basic plumbing and electrics.
  • Full UK driving licence, with maximum 3 penalty points.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Commercial vehicle wash experience.
  • Experience of working with electric motors, gear boxes, pumps, PLCs, PCBs.
