As a fast-growing business we’re expanding our engineering team at our Manchester depot and are looking for a motivated Test & Repair Engineer to help support our growing customer base.

The Role
As a Test & Repair Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our equipment fleet is maintained to the highest standards, ready to deliver reliable performance for our customers. Working closely with our warehouse and engineering teams, you’ll be responsible for inspecting, testing, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of specialist cooling and heating equipment.
Responsibilities
- Testing Chillers (F-Gas)
- Testing Boilers (full training can be provided)
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on equipment returned from hire
- Cleaning, servicing, and preparing equipment for future hires
- Recording findings and identifying recurring equipment issues
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the warehouse and yard
About You
We’re looking for someone who is practical, organised, and takes pride in delivering quality work
- Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical or mechanical equipment
- Knowledge of PAT testing procedures and electrical safety regulations
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Basic IT skills for recording work and reporting issues
