Role Overview:At EPPH we take pride in our work and seek out opportunities to do things better. Our projects division is looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join their project team to work on major private and public projects. This role requires a results-oriented individual who is driven to participate in the growth and continued success of EPPH.
Responsibilities
- Ability to have a problem-solving approach, troubleshoot a job regardless of difficulties.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to carry out commercial gas activities autonomously and as part of a team.
- Proven experience in prioritising, organising and effectively meeting deadlines.
- Ability to read technical diagrams.
- Strong Health and Safety values.
- Proven experience of working on commercial plumbing systems.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Commercial gas qualifications
- At least 2–3+ years of experience working with commercial heating systems.
- Current NVQ, C&G or equivalent in plumbing or heating.
- Ability to pass Enhanced DBS checks.
- Current Domestic & Commercial Gas qualifications – training refresher can be provided.
- Full clean manual UK driving licence (confidential discussion if there are points).
- Willingness to travel and stay away if required (with notice).
- Good communication skills are a necessity for this position.
- Committed and proactive attitude towards safety.
Desirable
- IPAF / PASMA qualification
- CSCS card
- Current FGas Qualification

Hours: 07:30 – 16:00
Salary: £19-£22 per hour (DOE) + overtime (OTE £60,000+)
Location: Ipswich/Various Sites
Role Start: ASAP
