Overview

I’m currently recruiting for a BMS Commissioning Engineer to join a well-established engineering company supporting a major long-term project based around the St Austell area.

This is an outside IR35 contract with work expected to continue through until 2028, offering long-term stability for contractors seeking sustained, long-term work.

About the Role

The company delivers BMS design, installation, commissioning and maintenance across a range of large-scale projects, working with blue-chip clients in sectors including data centres, aviation, life sciences and commercial buildings.

They are looking for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer with strong knowledge of Schneider EcoStruxure. Ideally you will be confident writing software from scratch, carrying out full commissioning activities, and have solid industry experience within the BMS sector.

Engineers do not need to be based in the area; if you are happy travelling or staying away during the week, they are open to discussing options.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out full BMS commissioning activities with emphasis on Schneider EcoStruxure.
  • Write software from scratch where required and integrate with project systems.
  • Support project delivery through collaboration with design, installation and maintenance teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer with strong knowledge of Schneider EcoStruxure.
  • Ability to write software from scratch and perform full commissioning.
  • Willingness to travel or stay away during the week.
  • Driving licence and full right to work in the UK.

Package & Location

  • Up to £400 per day (DOE).
  • Outside IR35.
  • Long-term contract through to 2028.
  • Opportunity to work on a major project with a well-established engineering company.
