Controls/Commissioning Engineer (Bespoke Machinery)
Location: Beccles
Salary: £60,000 + £65,000 + In-House Training + Annual Discretional Bonus + Site Travel (Paid) + Overseas Travel (Paid)
We are an industry leading bespoke machinery manufacturer with over 60 years of experience. The Controls/Commissioning Engineer will be the technical expert for all control system related issues, working with a range of PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, robots, and other specialized controllers tailored to customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Programming and modifying control systems using PLCs, servo drives, and robots.
- Troubleshooting and adjusting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and controls equipment.
- Being involved in the manufacturing process from build completion through to customer inspection and final sign-off.
Requirements
- Controls Engineer or Commissioning Engineer or both.
- Experience with Allen Bradley and Seimens PLCs.
- Willingness to travel 30% UK and overseas (70% office based).
- Commute distance acceptable to Beccles (BBBH26164).
