Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical Design / Process Design Engineer to help deliver cutting–edge energy solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support the transition to a low–carbon future.
Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll lead the mechanical design of innovative Combined Heat & Power (CHP), Tri–Generation, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from concept through to commissioning. You’ll produce detailed engineering documentation, develop process, piping and ventilation designs, perform mechanical calculations, co–ordinate CAD activities, and provide technical support throughout project delivery.
Qualifications
- HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering energy or power generation projects
- Strong background in mechanical/process design, pipework, ventilation, CDM, and health & safety
- Experience with AutoCAD 3D (or equivalent) and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and project co–ordination skills
