Salary: £45,000Shift Pattern: Pitman Shift (Days & Nights)

Are you a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment?

We are seeking a proactive and motivated engineer to join a well‑established manufacturing business. Working as part of the engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining production equipment, reducing downtime, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
• Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns.
• Diagnose and repair both electrical and mechanical faults.
• Support continuous improvement projects to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.
• Accurately complete maintenance records and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with production teams to minimise downtime.

Skills & Experience Required

• Multi‑skilled engineering background with both electrical and mechanical fault‑finding experience.
• Experience working within a manufacturing, FMCG, food, packaging, or automated production environment.
• Electrical qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PLC fault finding would be advantageous.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
