Full Time – 36 hours per week
Band 7 – Salary Range £52,845 – £61,466 per annum
Distant Island Allowance of £2,578 per annum
Relocation Assistance of up to £8,000 available
Responsibilities
Lead, develop and deliver the Service with the aim of achieving a human rights based approach to a range of health, psychological, social and economic improvements for clients. Manage the delivery of evidence-based interventions, both clinical and psychological, and work collaboratively with local authority and third sector colleagues.
Qualifications
Registered General or Mental Health Nurse with relevant management experience, able to demonstrate experience in the management and delivery of evidence-based care to people experiencing substance use problems, including the management of controlled drugs. Experience working in hospital and community based primary care environments, people management and development, systems and process management, and up‑to‑date knowledge of current local and national policy and practice in relation to service user care and statutory obligations.
Eligibility
Preferred candidates will be required to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update prior to a formal offer of employment being made.
