Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Bathroom Brassware
Industry Sector: KBB, Bathrooms, Bathroom Taps, Brassware, Showers, Sanitaryware, Tapware, Independent Bathroom Retailers, Plumbers Merchants and Buying Groups
Area to be Covered: Scotland & Ireland
Remuneration: £45,000 base + £10,000 uncapped commission

Role Overview
The role of the Area Sales Manager – Bathroom Brassware will involve:
- Field sales position, promoting a distributed range of bathroom taps, showers, accessories and fittings
- Sell into independent bathroom retailers and buying groups such as NBG, Fortis, IPG, Bathcom, UKPS
- Spend one week in Ireland covering about 20 shops and supporting existing accounts
- Scotland accounts: about 20-30 trading accounts with turnover £150,000, expected to grow to approx. 100+ retailers
- 50% new business development – recruit approx. 4 new bathroom retail showrooms/buying group members per month (Scotland only)
- 50% account managing existing independent bathroom retailers/buying group members
- Customer accounts typically turn over £5,000-£10,000, but can be larger (£60,000+)
- Utilise own retail showroom contacts and leads via groups such as UK Plumbing Supplies, Bathcom, NBG, Fortis and IPG
- Conduct at least 5 client meetings per day
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record of field sales within the bathroom industry
- Experience selling into bathroom retail showrooms, plumbers merchants and buying group members (e.g., NBG, Fortis, UKPS, MKM, Plumbase)
- Strong new business and account management mentality
- Existing contacts within the independent bathroom retail/buying group communities preferred
- Self‑motivated and capable of working independently
