Harvey Nash are now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Capability & Workforce Programme Lead, an initial six month contract, inside of IR35.

  • Daily rate of £800 – £1000 a day
  • Hybrid to an office in Reading or Glasgow

The Role

  • Lead the capability and workforce planning workstream within a major IT transformation programme, ensuring the organisation has the skills, structure, and ways of working needed to deliver its technology strategy.
  • The role will establish a clear, evidence-based understanding of current capability across a large IT function, define future capability requirements, and drive targeted initiatives to address identified skills and capability gaps.
  • Working closely with HR and senior technology stakeholders, you will support the design and implementation of enterprise-wide job families aligned, develop structured technical learning and development frameworks, and establish certification and competency standards across key roles.
  • Strong analytical capability to assess workforce data and capability gaps.
  • Experience presenting workforce insights and transformation plans to senior stakeholders.
  • In depth knowledge of the concepts and principles of project management, planning, time management and project leadership.
  • Organisational awareness with ability to operate with confidence and credibility across all functions of the organisation.
