Job Description:

Job Purpose

You will support the delivery of a high‑quality curriculum in Health and Care across all pathways including full‑time and part‑time further education, higher education, and the 14‑19 curriculum. Based in our Rhos and Rhyl campuses, you will assist the Program Area Manager (PAM) in overseeing operational and curriculum management across specialised sectors such as Health, Social Care, Childcare, and Counselling. Each discipline benefits from practical spaces designed for expert teaching and hands‑on learning, reflecting our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the PAM to guide and support a team of Lecturers and Assessors in delivering engaging, inclusive teaching.
  • Support curriculum planning and development to keep programmes current, industry‑relevant and tailored to each pathway, while maintaining financial sustainability.
  • Help manage key performance indicators such as attendance, retention and achievement, using data‑driven insights to enhance the learner experience.
  • Assist with quality assurance processes including internal verification, timetabling and assessment planning.
  • Maintain a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and support for team members.

Job Details

  • Salary: £52,332 – £55,753 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience
  • Place of work: Rhyl, Rhos‑on‑Sea
  • Holiday entitlement: 37 days per annum (01 September to 31 August); all normally observed public holidays; up to 5 days efficiency closure days per annum.
  • Working pattern: 37 hours per week
  • Pension rights: Teachers Pension Scheme
  • Contract type: Full Time Permanent
