Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of growing businesses, including reviewing assignments and advising clients as required.
- Managing individual clients to ensure deadlines are achieved in a timely manner.
- Attending client meetings in person or via video link when required.
- Assisting the Client Service Director with raising fee notes and management of work-in-progress.
- Supporting the Client Service Director and Partner on one-off project-based assignments.
- Motivating, training, and developing Trainees, Seniors and other colleagues, including some line management responsibilities.
- Potential to attend networking events and new client meetings with one of our Fee Earners.
Requirements
- ACCA or ACA qualified with at least 2 years post-qualification experience gained in an accountancy practice.
- Knowledge of various software packages including cloud-based packages.
- Ambitious and passionate about what you do, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in developing other members of your team.
- Organised, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.
- Line management experience would be desirable.
