Project Manager

Overview

As a Project Manager, you’ll be leading the day-to-day design and construction of projects valued up to £15m. You’ll work collaboratively with your team to deliver projects safely, within budget, to programme and quality expectations, ensuring customer satisfaction every step of the way. This is an opportunity to make a real impact, working on diverse projects across key sectors including education, health, defence, and aviation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safety, health, environmental and wellbeing culture across your project.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers, building strong relationships and ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.
• Oversee project delivery, including programme management, design coordination and quality control.
• Manage project finances, revenue, costs and cashflow to maximise profitability.
• Line manage project staff, conduct performance reviews and support their development.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational projects and knowledge of contract conditions within the construction industry.
• Hold or are working towards professional membership (e.g. CIOB, RICS) and have CSCS and SMSTS qualifications.
• Excellent communicator who can influence at all levels and build strong relationships.
• Sound commercial awareness with a commitment to health, safety and risk management.
• Highly organised, proactive and driven to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
