At Inspire, we believe everyone deserves to feel valued, connected and supported. Lowtherstown Court is a specialist day care service for older people aged 65 and over, including individuals living with physical frailty, complex health needs and dementia.
Working in partnership with the Trust, we support people across the dementia spectrum, from those recently diagnosed to individuals with more advanced needs. Our service provides meaningful social interaction, engaging activities and personalised support, helping people maintain their wellbeing, confidence and quality of life.
As a Relief Project Worker, you’ll play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming environment where people feel seen, heard and included. Whether you’re supporting someone to join an activity, sharing a conversation over lunch, or helping a service user maintain their independence, you’ll see the impact of your work every day.
About the Role
Lowtherstown Court supports up to 12 people each day through a structured programme of care, support and activities. Working as part of a small and dedicated team, you will provide person-centred support to older people with a range of physical, emotional and social needs.
You’ll help service users participate in meaningful activities, support personal care and mobility needs, promote health and wellbeing, and maintain strong communication with families and professionals involved in each person’s care.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing high-quality care and support to older people, including those living with dementia
- Supporting individuals with personal care and mobility needs
- Building trusting relationships with service users and their families
- Facilitating meaningful activities that promote engagement, wellbeing and social inclusion
- Supporting individuals to maintain independence and dignity
- Monitoring wellbeing and reporting concerns appropriately
- Assisting with meal preparation and supporting people during mealtimes
- Maintaining accurate records and using IT systems to update documentation
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals to achieve the best outcomes for service users

- Cooking demonstrations
